For as long as I can remember I have always been an active person, I danced competitively for 13 years and done athletics for a further 3.
Athletics was where I found my love for the gym, our coach incorporated weights into our training program to aid us in our running. Not long after I began lifting weights I noticed the physical changes within my body shape and my confidence increased dramatically. I always thought that lifting heavy would make me look ‘manly’, but how wrong was I?!
In 2015 at just 19 years old I jumped straight into working as a PT as soon as I finished my certification, and I have never looked back. I love helping people reach their goals and improving their mind-sets, I get a real buzz out of it. I use skills that I have gained in my previous disciplines (Dance & Athletics) to create unique training sessions for my clients. To make them fun yet challenging.
I also completed a Sports Massage course in early 2018, and I offer this alongside PT. Sports Massage should be a vital part of anyone’s training regime. It aids the prevention of injury and can benefit existing ones. I want my clients to get maximum results out of their training, and I believe that if they feel better then they train better!
